This year In Support of St Gemma's Hospice. A friendly, club organised event, 2024 will be our 19th year. We are well-supported by the local community and running clubs. You can be assured of a warm welcome and can look forward to a fast, flat scenic route among 1000 fellow runners. The race is Gold-Graded by the British Association of Road Race and was the BARR National WInner of the Bill Reynolds Memorial Trophy 2014. The Wetherby Mini-Marathon (entry on the day only - 1.6 miles, no min age ) is held alongside the 10K. There’s plenty of space and free parking at Wetherby Racecourse so its hassle free getting to and from the Wetherby 10k. There’s time to relax with an ice cream or bring a picnic to enjoy the race atmosphere in the lovely surroundings. Celebrate 'A Cracking little Yorkshire run' with the commemorative mug for all finishers.

Large car park with easy entrance & exit. Wetherby Mini Marathon with no lower age limit. Hot & Cold Refreshments all day, Ice Cream van & lots of picnic space.

Fun run £5.00 enter on the day from 11am all ages ( U7s to run with a fee paying parent guardian). Starts and finishes at Wetherby Racecourse The race pack (booklet) will be available (e-mailed to participants and on the internet publicly) in PDF from mid August 2024. Chip timed race numbers are to be collected on the day. There will be a race number transfer service. This will cease four days before race day. Chipped race numbers collected on the day from 11:15am to 1:30pm. Big mug is included for all finishers Under no circumstances are the use of earphones, MP3s and the like permitted during the race. Any participants using these will be disqualified immediately. Race fees are non refundable. For upper age categories, the organisers reserve the right to not award prizes should, in their opinion, the field (number of competitors) in that class be deemed too small. In the eventuality of the awards ceremony running late, the organisers may decide to post out vets prizes. Entrants should read the following T&C’s. 1. 10k competitors must be 15 years of age or over on the day of the race. 2. Due to the nature of the course we are unable to accept entries from wheelchair athletes. 3. No accompanying dogs or cyclists allowed. Runners are reminded to adhere to the ‘Country Code’ on off-road sections. 4. Results will be posted on club website www.wetherbyrunnersac.co.uk within 48 hrs of the finish. 5. Please contact the Entry Secretary if you need to change runner details (Don't run using someone else’s number) 6. In accordance with UKA Personal Safety Rule S240 S5, the use of portable devices with earphones over/in the ear are not permitted. (Infringement = disqualification & No results published) Bone conducting earphones are permitted. 7. The course distances have been measured by surveyor’s wheel. Trail races are not permitted for accurate distance certification if greater than 10% off road. There is a 1.2km section of hard packed gravel
