PLEASE NOTE If you enter online, Numbers can then be collected on Boxing Day morning NOT from the Comrade Club but from the Brick Shelter on the Links OR between 5.30pm and 7pm on Tuesdays 24th/Christmas Eve from North Shields Poly ClubHouse in Churchill Playing Fields OR Contact John Brettell on 07403376481 to arrange collection BEFORE 4.30pm Tuesday. Any amount of numbers can be collected by anybody. Now in its 34th year, the Woodlawn Boxing Day Pudding Run is a North East tradition, attracting thousands of runners to Whitley Bay every year to run off the Christmas excess with a seafront run suitable for all abilities. The Pudding Run is 5k (3.1 miles) and runners young and old are encouraged to dress in their festive finest. Each finisher will receive a Christmas Pudding and a certificate. Funds raised by the run will be split between Woodlawn School and North Shields Poly. Adults - £8 Children (under 16) - £4 Please note: In the event of snow or ice the race will be postponed to a later date for safety reasons. No refunds or deferrals will be available if postponement is necessary.
