Haxby 10k returns join us in our brilliant flat and fast race!

We are so excited that the Haxby 10K returns on Sunday 17th May 2026. Following the success of the inaugural race last year, this fantastic road race in the glorious Haxby is back with its flat (ideal PB) course. Our fantastic race HQ at Oaken Grove Community Centre is where you will start off with a race that takes in the surrounding streets and closed roads to the north of Haxby. This event is hosted by Haxby Runners, partnering with Haxby Town Football Club. This is a Community event to show off some of our beloved Haxby. Not only are we looking to showcase the community spirit, Haxby Town FC and Haxby Runners but also looking for the opportunity to raise some money for community clubs and projects close to our heart. This UK Athletics licensed 10k route has been specifically created to be fast and flat, with great chances to achieve a personal best. Its an ideal route as a seasoned runner or if you are new to running, this might even be your first time doing this distance. Whatever your reason is for signing up for the Haxby 10k, we cannot wait for you to run or run/walk the route!
