In Support of the Royal British Legion
Come and join us on the 11th November 2017 for an enjoyable, challenging 10k. Starting under the eye of Nelson, at the foot of the Nelson Monument, high atop Portsdown Hill, with views across the Solent to the South and the Hampshire Downs to the North, aside the Royal Armouries Museum, the race will start after a 2 minute period of silence. The sounding of the 1 o'clock gun, will start the 2 minute silence with the 25lb cannon then sounding the start of the race. A beautiful course, taking in the iconic views across Portsmouth Harbour and the Solent, Portchester Castle and views across rolling Hampshire countryside. Run on closed roads, with chip timing, stunning views and and awesome 'poppy themed' medal, this is definitely the 'must do' race on the south coast in 2017
