An undulating 5 mile road race in and around Northowram taking in views of the Calder Valley.

REGISTRATION- please note numbers are to be collected on the day. Registration will be open 8.30am to 9:45am. Our yearly road race will return once again in 2026 & takes in the very best views of the village and the surrounding areas. The race is chip timed and there will be a short presentation for age category winners after the race. We have committed to FREEZE entry prices from last year and as was the case with 2025, all runners will get a complimentary drink after finishing. Just show your race number to the kitchen! NEW FOR 2026: We are also delighted to offer all participants the chance to order a high-quality, bespoke finishers technical running t-shirt for the very first time as a memento of your day! Please select the option with t-shirt when entering the race if you would like to order one. If not, please just enter at the cheaper price point and select 'no T-shirt please'. We are also aiming to make this year's NR5 the biggest and best ever, with hot food, drinks, family events and much more planned for the day. So if you're running, bring your friends and family and let's make it a day to remember! Portions of the profits from the day will be donated to our chosen charity, Calder Valley Search and Rescue. Can't make it? It's simple to transfer your place to another runner. Simply follow the Modify Entry Details link at the top of your confirmation email and you can change the details to your replacement's details - but please do this before 24th May 2025. The login screen will ask for the date of birth on the entry record and the postcode of the billing address. Any unsold places will be available to purchase on the day if we have not sold out, for £2 extra. And the bar will be open after the race for you to get those well-earned post-race refreshments!
