Here it is... if you are looking to keep fit, or looking for that big PB, then this is arguably the fastest 5k race in Cumbria..without a doubt! The race is a point to point course which will start on the North Quay pier at the top of the promenade in Maryport. From here the race runs the full length of the promenade and follows the cycle path through the golf course and across the road bend which will be suitably marshalled during the race. The race re-joins the flat tarmac cycle path down the coast road and will finish around 400m passed the Crosscanonby junction. The race start is approx 0.7 miles from the centre so ideal for your warm up.
