Gosforth 10K
This event has been cancelled due to covid restrictions.
The race will start in Gosforth, Cumbria, on the road alongside the Playing Field, at exactly 6.30 p.m. Runners run up the road to the crossroads, turn left down the A595 to Greengarth , turn left there along the road to Santon Village, where there is a drinks station. Turn left at Santon Village and return to Gosforth; through Gosforth to the Playing Field where the finish is near the Pavilion. The route is not closed to traffic, so runners must stay on the left hand side of the road at all times. Runners must not be accompanied by cyclists or people in cars, as this presents a major safety risk to other runners and road users. At the finish each runner will receive a commemorative medal, maybe a spot prize, drinks and biscuits. Results will be displayed as quickly as we can at the finish.
