Get ready to kick off the festive season in style! The Colne Santa Run is a fun, family-friendly community event where Santa's and their Elves will take to the streets of Colne for a merry dash through the town. Participants of all ages are encouraged to join in, whether you’re running, jogging, wheeling, or walking the route, the emphasis is on festive fun, community spirit, and bringing people together. Each entry includes a Santa suit for adults and an Elf suit for children, so the whole town becomes a sea of red and white as the run sets off. The event isn’t just about fun, all proceeds will be reinvested directly back into Colne through Colne BID, helping to support local businesses, deliver exciting events, and fund projects that make the town a better place for everyone. The Santa Run will start at Colne Youth Action Group, heading to the Keighley Road Roundabout, then directly down Keighley Road continuing to finish at the Crown, in plenty of time to join the Colne Christmas Light Switch on Parade; Elves are encouraged to collect candy canes from participating businesses along the way. A perfect way to celebrate Christmas with friends, family, and the wider community.
