Raby Castle 2.5K - the shortest of the three Raby Races!
The 20th Annual Raby Races will take place on Sunday 12th May 2024, hosted once again by Teesdale AC within the spectacular scenery offered up by Raby Castle and its surrounding 200-acre estate. Your race number gets you and two supporters free entry into the grounds and the deer park up until 10:30, and with free parking its a lovely place to have a picnic or visit the castle cafe after the races have finished. Your race number will enable you to a 10% discount in the cafe or buy discounted entry cost of £5 into The Castle, and you can also buy tickets for the new Plotters Forest, an outdoor playground in a Natural Christmas Tree Plantation (no discount sorry). This year there are three races taking place, the 2.5k Fun Run for those under 11 years old the 5k Fun Run, for those aged 11 and over and the highly regarded 10k Race for competitors aged 16 and over. Adults can run with under 5's in the 2.5k Fun Run. (See each race page for online entry, on the day entries will be available)

On arrival at Raby Castle Estate you will be directed by a marshal for your free parking. Race Numbers are to be collected on the day from the Race HQ, please allow plenty time prior to the race to collect. Race entry allows free entry to Raby Castle grounds and deer park for both entrants and 2 supporters only and a reduced entry of £5 into the castle (entry to the grounds must be prior to 10:30am. Entry after 10:30 am will be charged an entry fee to the grounds). Raby is a wonderful setting to enjoy after the race with family & friends, previously many have enjoyed a picnic in the park. There is a Cafe which will be open from 10am to 4pm. Please note that due to the nature of the park, deer may wander across the course. All dogs MUST be kept on a lead. THERE WILL BE ENTRIES ON THE DAY. Please note the statement regarding Information about UKA Anti-Doping.
