Walk the Boundaries of the City of Truro led by The Right Worshipful the Mayor of Truro Councillor Rob Nolan

BEATING THE BOUNDS will take place on Sunday 23rd April. Starting at Lemon Quay at 10am and returning around 4.30, this 15 mile circular walk will use roads and footpaths as close as possible to the City Boundary. Walkers can complete the full walk or choose to walk shorter sections of circa 10 miles or 5 miles.  The walk will be led by The Right Worshipful the Mayor of Truro Councillor Rob Nolan, reviving a centuries old tradition, with eight Beating The Bounds ceremonies, each involving the Mayor pointing out the boundaries of the City to two local children. The aim is to raise funds for the Mayors Charity, ROC and Truro Lions, Those 15 and under, free if accompanied by a registered adult.  Additional sponsorship is encouraged and forms will be emailed to those registering. There will be an opportunity to request that Truro Lions donate up to 50% of sponsorship raised by walkers, to a club, organisation or charity of their choice.
