Nidderdale 6 mile trail race, with short course options for dog friendly canicross and kids races

Run Nidderdale is a brand new trail race for all abilities through the beautiful Nidderdale countryside - with all profit going to the Cure Parkinson's charity. The route takes you up through Guisecliff Woods, onto the moor and across to the Trig point which has some stunning views. You will then head along the Nidderdale Way past the famous 'two stoops' before dropping back down into Pateley and back to the Nidderdale Showground. In addition, there are also short courses within the Nidderdale Showground for canicross and kid's races. Race start times: 3km Canicross: 10.00am 2km Kid's Race: 10:45am 6 mile Trail Race: 11:30am Minimum age 16 for the trail and canicross races. Minimum age 5 for the kid's race. All races start and finish on the Nidderdale Showground. Please note some of this route as per the gpx file goes through private land that can not be accessed prior to the end date. Canicross Race Terms: All dogs must be at least 12 months of age and wearing a suitable canicross harness that does not restrict shoulder movement. Dogs must remain attached to owners at all times. Kids Race: Parents/Guardians remain responsible for children at all times. Parents are welcome to accompany children on the run. On the day entry available (subject to places still being available)
