Holmfirth 10K 2025

An undulating race on quiet country roads featuring fantastic views over Winscar Reservoir, Thurlstone Moor and beyond!

The Holmfirth 10k evolved from the Holmfirth 15; a popular fixture in the road calendar which was first held in 1968. 2022 saw the introduction of a new course which aims to show off the beauty of the Holme Valley and surrounding areas. If you like flat, fast road races in urban areas then this might not be the race for you. If however you like running in stunning countryside surrounded by rolling hills and moorland whilst pushing yourself on what is a challenging yet enjoyable course then we've got you covered! The prize list is as follows: First three men First three women First vet in each 10-year age category (M/F 40, 50 etc. up to M/F 70+) First men's team (three to count) First women's team (three to count) Holmfirth Harriers AC will be making a donation to The Kirkwood - The Hospice for Kirklees from the race proceeds, and you can also support them by making an additional donation with your entry. When you enter, you can also choose whether to purchase a high quality technical t-shirt as a memento. Please note, the option to purchase a t-shirt will close on SUNDAY 28TH SEPTEMBER to allow for printing and delivery. The 2025 edition of the Holmfirth 10k has been selected as the Yorkshire Veteran's Athletic Association (YVAA) 10k Road Championship Race. To enter, athletes who are affiliated to YVAA (either via an affiliated club, or individually) just need to enter the race as normal. The race organisers will then filter the full results to produce YVAA results containing only affiliated athletes. YVAA prizes will be awarded to the first three finishers in each 5-year age category from 35 years plus. Entries can be modified and places transferred or deferred up until FRIDAY 10TH OCTOBER.
