We welcome you to our latest Running Workshop taking place in the picturesque Robin Hoods Bay. The Workshop will be led by Coaches Kieran and Will. Coaches who do what they preach. It's open to all clubs and abilities to enjoy a valuable training experience. Here's what we will be getting up to: Saturday - 10am Start from the Victoria Hotel. • An introduction to what the Weekend involves. • Kenyan Hills speed session specific to 800m to Marathon runners. • Running technique session to improve running economy and how you can integrate these practices into your training plan. • A Q&A session with Coaches Kieran and Will. You can send in questions prior to the Workshop and we will answer as many as we can. • A social bite to eat in RHB many food options. • The afternoon session will involve an easy run/walk towards Ravenscar before returning on the old railway line. Sunday - 10am start from the Victoria Hotel. • It's the church of the Sunday long run meaning we will be heading out in graded groups of similar ability along the Cleveland Way towards Whitby and Sandsend. There is no specific pace and sections may involve some walking. You go at your own pace. • As part of the long run session we will be providing a range of different fuelling options for you to try out and test. • You can't go to RHB and not get Fish n Chips! Hopefully the local delicacy will replenish your glycogen stores. • The afternoon session will involve a short 12 minute drive to May Beck Car Park (free parking) where we will head out for a social walk towards Goathland capturing the full North York Moors experience. Whether you can make the whole weekend or one day the training experience will be a so valuable for your progress in the sport.
