Boxing Day Pudding Run.

Back for its 40th Year North Shields Polytechnic Club with The BAY Foodbank are proud to present the annual Pudding Run. Starting next to the Helipad on the Links, this scenic 5k (3.1 miles) takes you along the beautiful coastline of Whitley Bay and back finishing next to the Helipad where you will collect your pudding. As this is a FUN run Christmas costumes are encouraged. All proceeds will be split between North Shields Polytechnic Club (charity no. 1175041) and The BAY Foodbank (charity number 1151746). This age old tradition is family friendly, open to all abilities and pushchairs are welcome. Unfortunately our four legged friends must be spectators only and NO scooters or electric bikes will be permitted on the course for safety purposes. Please Note: There will be NO on the day entry so you can only secure a space by using the ENTER NOW button on this racebest page before 6.00 pm on Wednesday 23rd December 2026. By including your email you are consenting to email correspondence from North Shields Polytechnic Club about this race only. Numbers will be available from Whitley Bay Comrades Club between 6pm and 8pm on Tuesday 22nd December and between 6pm and 8pm on Thursday 24th December 2026. Numbers can also be collected on the day.
