PARKING The nearest parking facilities are Rawdon Meadows (800m) and Apperley Bridge Station (1.2km). There is NO PARKING at St. Johns Community Church. Other on street parking is available, always check restrictions. COURSE OVERVIEW Tour De 28 course starts at St. Johns and heads down to Calverley Woods, then joins the Leeds Country way through Ravenscliff Woods to Thornbury via Pudsey to Post Hill Woods, up Post Hill and returning via Fulneck and Thornbury, then through Woodall Hills and Calverley Woods to finish. The 10km starts the same as The Tour De 28 but goes straight from Thornbury back to Apperley Bridge via Woodall Hills and Calverley. ENTRY REQUIREMENTS / CUT OFFS There are no official cut offs, however we ask you read the entry requirements before entering, this is to ensure our volunteers are not out on course for a long period of time. 28km - You have completed a trail half marathon before and expect to be able to complete the Tour de 28 within 4 hours. 10km - You are comfortable running 10km and expect to be able to complete the 10km within 90 minutes. If you are unsure do not hesitate to contact us RACE START / FINISH Both races will start from St. Johns Community Church at 11am. COURSE MARKINGS 28km The course will be marked with signs and flags at junctions or turn offs. A race route is provided at registration (and ahead of time via pdf) for runners to navigate the route should flags get misplaced during the event. 10km The course will be fully marked with signs and flags. A race route is provided at registration (and ahead of time via pdf) for runners to navigate the route should flags get misplaced during the event. All runners will be given a race map at registration. Every now and then our courses can be subject to sabotage. It is ultimately the runners responsibility to navigate the course successfully, with or without course markings.
