The Great Grimsby 10k is in its 7th Year and will take place on Sunday 5th June from the iconic Great Grimsby Town Hall. The route is FLAT & FAST but caters for all running abilities. From the seasoned club runner to the newbie runners who love the camaraderie around the fantastic route. SPECTACULAR FINISH LINE EVENT – There will be a spectacular finish line event at the picturesque Victorian Peoples Park in the heart of the town, where you will be welcomed back with music, entertainment and a real carnival atmosphere to commemorate the Queens Platinum Jubilee. FANTASTIC SUPPORT ON THE ROUTE – The local community give endless support at this race, in the past they have come out with hosepipes and drinks to cool runners down! To get you around the route there will also be lots of music, bands, entertainment, 3 water stations, jelly baby station and a fireman’s hose to cool you down, kindly supplied by the local Humberside Fire & Rescue. OTHER HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE: Finishers t-shirt Medal Cake!! Pacers FAMILY FUN RUN FREE activities & entertainment at the finish FREE local parking within 10 mins walking distance FREE baggage storage Supporting local charities and community groups Be quick off the mark to enter! The last proper live event in 2019 was a sell out with 4,000 runners. When the places have gone, they are gone!!
