Skipton Virtual Santa Fun Run

Will you be one of the 2000 people helping to raise much needed funds for Manorlands and other local charities.

For the last 10 years, on one Sunday morning in November, the streets of Skipton have turned red with around 2000 men, women and children running a 5 km course in the Great Skipton Santa Fun Run, in support of the Rotary Club of Skipton Craven charities or of charities of their choice. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the Great Skipton Santa Fun Run 2020, which was due to take place on Sunday 29th November, has been cancelled. However, due to the financial difficulties experienced by many charities as a result of the restrictions, we are planning an ‘alternative’ 5km Fun Run in December 2020. Entrants will be able to choose their own 5km route and method (running, walking, crawling, treadmill etc) to help raise much needed funds for local charities again this year. The run normally raises over £25K for Manorlands alone along with £20K for many other local charities. We will not be giving out Santa suits and medals this year, so we hope to be able to claim Gift aid on your donation for entry, if you are a tax payer, to further benefit the charities. There is also the opportunity on the entry form to give a further donation to Manorlands or other local charities Feel free to come and join us for good fun and a good cause by entering today!
