Slaithwaite Striders are proud to present the inaugural Darkwood Demon
This 6-mile race gives you a taste of the beautiful Colne Valley trails, taking in fantastic views whilst enjoying all sorts of terrain - towpath, woodland, bridleway, moorland, muddy bog and road. A challenging climb to the top of Cupwith Hill turns into a fast descent towards the finish and well-earned refreshments. 6.0 Miles, 950 feet / 9.4km, 290 metres. 85% Trail, 15% road. Prizes for top 3 male & female. On the day spot prizes.

Free on-site car park for around 50 cars and on-street parking along West Slaithwaite Road. Numbers to be collected on the day from race HQ inside Zapato Brewery. The race starts and finishes outside Zapato & Dark Woods Coffee Café, with both opening early that morning.
The event will be held under UK Athletics rules. Minimum age for entrants - 16.
