We start and finish at the Water Tower Event Field in High Ackworth following a rural route out towards the attractive village of Wentbridge which has a reputed link to Robin Hood! There is a challenging ascent out of Wentbridge before the course turns towards Darrington then follows a loop back to Wentbridge with a long steady descent. The return route takes in the delightful hamlet of Hundhill then ascends along Sandygate Lane back to High Ackworth and the finish. This is a perfect time to test your early Spring fitness and preparedness for a marathon (just 2 weeks before London).
