A multi-terrain run over about 5.8 miles on country tracks, footpaths and some streets, through ancient woodlands and farmland, offering spectacular long-distance Pennine views (weather permitting, of course, though it never normally rains in Bradford). You may find the odd hill and (weather dependent), there may or may not be a bit of mud. An event for the whole family: for club runners, fun runners, and everyone else. The start/finish is around half a mile from the HQ. The race itself takes place in/around Judy Woods, with the start being to the side of Royds Hall Dam/Park Dam, Low Moor, Bradford, which is off Lingdale Road, Low Moor, Bradford, BD6 2NT. The dam is accessed via a short path opposite 66-72 Lingdale Road. The maximum number of 500 participants. Race license to be confirmed. Minimum age 16 years. Proceeds go to support the resurfacing and ongoing maintenance of the historic athletics track at Horsfall Stadium which is now the financial responsibility of Bradford Airedale AC.
