1Km Reindeer Chase

Teesdale AC will be hosting a 1Km Festive Reindeer Chase in the grounds of The Bowes Museum. Santa’s reindeer will have no shortage of options when it comes to adventure with plenty of trees to hide or open grounds to give chase. Runners of all abilities will enjoy a challenging and fun run chasing the reindeer in one of the most popular visitor destinations. In the second year of this event, you will set off in search for the reindeer in the grounds of Bowes Museum. Once they have found a reindeer, you will collect a special number attached to the reindeer before returning to the finish. Each number will be collected by Santa at the end of the chase with your chance to win a special prize in the grand raffle draw. All finishers will recive a medal. Adults can accompany their children on the run but only paying adults with a race number can collect reindeer numbers to be entered in the prize draw. There will then follow a short break while the Reindeer are fed and watered before they are released in advance of the 5Km Reindeer Chase which will be held in the Bowes Museum grounds & Barnard Castle School.
