NEPIC training weekends with Project Run

We are back with another Running Workshop this summer, this time heading over to County Durham for two days of hardcore training and escape in Middleton in Teesdale with a performance yet fun feel factor. The weekend has a half marathon and Marathon focus although all activities can be adapted for all abilities. Here is a rough guide on what to expect: Saturday • Meeting at Hamsterley Forest Main Car Park for 10am. Redford Ln, Redford, Hamster DL13 3NL. • Forest interval session working in graded groups of ability. 5 to 12 miles of total volume. Aerobic capacity focus. • Forest Yoga session "getting down with nature." • Lunch. • 60 minutes walking or running on tails. • 30 minutes running specific S&C session to finish. *Parking at Hamsterley is a cost of around £6 for the day. Sunday • Meeting at Bowlees Visitor Centre Car Park, Bowlees, Newbiggin, Barnard Castle DL12 0XE for 10am. • Long run in graded groups on a mixture of road/trail with a 3 hour limit. • Lunch and break. • Group led hike to see Low and High Force Waterfalls and the surrounding Teesdale area. *Parking in this location is a donation. Join us for this poignant big training weekend on our way to smashing our goals. Again a small availability of accommodation will be available for the Friday and Saturday night.
