Wakefield Junior Triathlon Club 2017
A triathlon event for athletes age 8 to 18 (age at 31 December 2017) run by Wakefield Junior Triathlon Club. The event is held under British Triathlon rules and is part of the Yorkshire regional triathlon series (https://goo.gl/WIOmnt). There will be prizes for the first three boys & girls in each category. Race distances as follows:- 8 Years (Tristar Start) 50 metre swim, 1000 metre bike and 600 metre run. 9-10 years (Tristar 1) 150 metre swim, 2000 metre bike and 1200 metre run. 11-12 years (Tristar 2) 200 metre swim, 4000 metre bike and 1800 metre run. 13-14 years (Tristar 3) 300 metre swim, 6000 metre bike and 2400 metre run. 15-16 years (Youth) 400 metre swim, 8000 metre bike and 3000 metre run. 17-18 years (Junior) 400 metre swim, 8000 metre bike and 3000 metre run. 50m 1000m (1 lap) 600m (1 lap) – 0 bands 150m 2000m (2 laps) 1200m (2 laps) – 1 band 200m 4000m (4 laps) 1800m (3 laps) – 2 bands 300m 6000m (6 laps) 2400m (4 laps) – 3 bands 400m 8000m (8 laps) 3000m (5 laps) – 4 bands
