Take part in the first ever Shadwell Steeplechase. A race on the trails, footpaths and country roads around the quaint village of Shadwell and Thorner. Despite a steeplechase being more more commonly known to be a track or even horseback event The Shadwell Steeplechase get it’s name from it’s 26 stiles spread accross the course.

Shadwell village hall is a small village hall on the outskirts of Leeds very close to Roundhay Park. We have a few spaces available on a first come first serve basis. We always like to encourage all local runners to come via foot, bicycle or public transport. There is some on street parking close by but please park respectfully of the locals.
