Join us this winter for a nepic weekend in Ravenstonedale for one day or all weekend for the full package. We will be catering for all abilities and all goals but we ask if you do come that you stay for the full day of activities. Here's a rundown of both training days: Meeting for both days: Kings Head Pub, Ravenstonedale, Kirkby Stephen CA17 4NH. Saturday 10:15am - Introduction to the workshop. 10:30am - Group Tempo session using HR monitors and lactate strip testing protocols on a controlled road loop. 12:30pm - Lunch in Ravenstonedale 2pm - Double run or afternoon hike to local attractions such as Smardale Gill Viaduct. Sunday 10am - Either an easy paced long run in small groups or Marathon specific for those that didn't train hard on Saturday. 1pm - Yoga and relaxation session (mat required). 1:30pm - Lunch. 2:30pm - Afternoon hike in Mountains (2 hours) up Yarlside and surrounding area. Hiking from the Cross Keys Temperance Inn. Equipment needed: • Fully charged phone. • Waterproofs and plenty of warm clothing. • Two pairs of running trainers for multiple activities. • Water/snacks. • Race fuel to practice such as gels/specific drinks. • Yoga mat. Some snacks, water and protein shakes will be provided at the workshop. Some NEP members have booked accommodation at the Kings Head Pub in Ravenstonedale for Saturday night and we will be having a meal on the evening at 7:30pm. You must book your own accommodation.
