Dash for cash for Dementia! 3, 5, 10 km whatever you feel like running, you are sure to have fun for a worthy cause
A running event to raise money for Alzheimer's Society. Start off your run with other runners on the 26th of May, with a sense of pride, but the overall target is that you have plenty of fun and go away happy that you have entered. 3,5,10 kilometers are the distances to run, so in all fairness it is about taking part in something that is not too gruelling and enjoying yourself. Any finish time is superb! Entry into this race guarantees every runner a bespoke medal, a goody bag full of special treats, including a couple of bottles of lager!..... A prize is on offer in each distance for fastest lap. Whoever finishes fastest in each category will win a £10 shopping gift voucher, to spend at a major Sports store. More is needed each and every day to help the nicest people in the world, who struggle on a daily basis with Dementia. From my work as a volunteer, I see the impact this illness as on our elderly community. So let's do this run and have fun, gain new friendships, take pride in our achievements, walk away from a fun day with a smoke in your face and enjoy the British sunshine on the day( that's where the dream comes from in the name!) The quickest runner in each distance will be awarded a trophy
