South West Coast 50 Ultra Challenge
Take on the South West Coast Ultra Challenge!
The South West Coast Ultra Challenge offers a spectacular 50 km loop starting at Minehead, featuring the first section of the 630-mile Coastal Path and stunning views over Exmoor with over 1600 meters of climb. Participants can choose from various options, including 25 km and 10K family-friendly events, with camping and festival-style hospitality at basecamp near Dunster Castle. Rest stops are every 12.5 km, with major stops every 25 km offering full support, including medical services, catering, and recovery areas. The signed route is clearly marked with pink arrows and glow sticks for night walks, with real-time tracking options available. Free food and drinks, from snacks to meals, are provided throughout the event, catering to all dietary needs. Participants also have the chance to hire a geo-tracker for real-time updates. For those doing the 100 km or 50 km challenges, camping packages with showers and relaxation areas are available. Medical support, including podiatrists and massage services, is present at every stop. Finishers receive a medal, T-shirt, and glass of fizz, plus access to a BBQ and rest area. Shuttle buses are available for easy travel to and from key locations.
