push yourself like never before with our ultimate endurance test
In this virtual challenge, your goal is to run, walk or jog from Land’s End in Cornwall to John O’Groats in Scotland. Don’t worry, we don’t actually expect you to literally do it. But this challenge allows you to complete the distance between the two points (874 miles). The only rule is that you complete the challenge during 2022 (from 1st January to 31st December). WHAT’S INVOLVED? Download the Lands End to John OGroats Tracker Run, jog or walk 874 miles from 1st January 2022 to 31st December 2022. Each time you complete an activity, record the miles on that particular day. We also accept treadmill activities. The tracker automatically calculates the distance you have completed each month as well as the overall total. For example, if you ran 10 miles a week in April, it would show 40 miles for the monthly total and underneath it would show the total of any miles accumulated during January, February and March. WHAT’S INCLUDED? Receive a beautiful white aluminium finishers medal with a plain coloured ribbon. HOW DO I SEND MY EVIDENCE? Once you have completed the tracker and met the 874 miles requirement, you can email the spreadsheet to evidence@the-running-bug.com. Click on our FAQs section if you have any more questions or send us a message through our Contact Us page. When you’ve completed this challenge, why not share your achievement with other runners in our Facebook group. This is a great way to share your accomplishment and encourage others.
