Chaos on The Calverley Millenium Way

Great Owl running presents The Inaugural Calverley Chaos Race. A 12km / 7.5 mile Trail Race taking place on the fully marked Calverley Millenium Way Footpath. So why Chaos? The unique aspect of this new Great Owl Running event is that on this single loop course runners will choose whether to run the course clockwise or anti-clockwise. The course will be fully marked and marshalled at key areas. We look forward to seeing you at this brand new event in October and have strictly limited this race to 100 runners so enter now!

GETTING THERE / PARKING The Railway Inn has a place to lock your bike and is easily accessible via the Leeds Liverpool Canal so access by foot or bike is the best way to reach us. If driving we strongly recommend parking on Calverley Lane situated just off the A6120. We recommend to avoid Calverley Bridge which is often full. Once parked The Railway Inn is a short walk over the river.

The race starts and finishes at The Railway Inn. After the first 100m or so runners will choose whether to run the course clockwise or anti-clockwise. The route has permanent blue/yellow and green footpath markers and will have extra pink markers added on the day of the event.
