New Year is a time for looking forward to being the best version of you that you can be. Why not take up the New Year New You 10km Challenge, and earn yourself a medal and a personalized t-shirt at the same time? A Virtual race is a race that can be run at any location. You can walk, cycle, use the treadmill, run outside or participate in another race. You do YOUR race at YOUR pace anywhere in the world. Virtual races are a great way to stay fit and active all year round, to run for a good cause and get awesome medals for your participation! Step 1: SIGN UP FOR YOUR PLACE Sign up to this race and start your journey towards earning yourself a fabulous collection of bling! By entering, you also help raise £1,000’s for various deserving charities. YOU pick the time, the date, the place and the route - you don't even have to do it all in one day. Take as long as you like to complete the distance - it's your race, your way. Step 2: RACE IN YOUR OWN TIME You can complete your virtual race anywhere at all: around your housing estate, at the gym on a treadmill or even with a group of running buddies – essentially you can compete anywhere in the world! Our races come with no time pressure – your pace is individual to you and you will earn your medal for completing whatever your speed. You don't even have to run: you can walk without any fear of people watching you. Each of the races have dates to complete, usually within a four-week time frame, allowing you as much flexibility as you need to complete your challenge. Step 3: SUBMIT YOUR TIME Email us your proof to runforit@email.com. Examples include Garmin photos, app screenshots, fitbit stats, parkrun times etc. Step 4: GET YOUR MEDAL As soon as we've received your proof, we'll upload your results to our online league table so you can compete with like-minded runners. A few days later, you will receive your well-deserved t-shirt and medal in the post! Good luck!
