After a five year hiatus, Mickleden Straddle is back! The route over difficult high-level moorland terrain and potential for severe weather conditions make this race a serious winter challenge, requiring previous similar fell running experience. Pre-entry only - NO ENTRIES ON THE DAY.

Limited Parking available in Langsett Barn and Langsett Flouch car parks, layby on A616 and side roads. Please car share where possible. Registration from 9.30am at Langsett Barn.

There will be a mandatory kit check at registration as per FRA rules. NO KIT - NO RUN! GPS devices for navigation not permitted. No dogs allowed with runners. Please note cut off time of 12.00 at CP1 (top of Cut Gate). A bottle of Rescue Ale to all finishers in support of Woodhead Mountain Rescue Team. Post race refreshments and prize presentation at Langsett Barn. Entries are non-refundable. Transfers will be accepted up until 31st January. Further information in pre-entrant email before race day.
