Flat and fast 20mile multiple lap race with spring marathons in mind

Darlington Harriers & AC, are hosting this multi lap event for those runners who are looking to run a fast 20 mile race, prepare for a Spring full or half marathon. Using predominantly the same course as the Darlington South park parkrun, although removing the infamous ‘Squirrel Hill’. Starting outside the tropical bird cage…well it has a parrot. Runners will head out past the children’s play area before taking a sharp left down a slight incline before taking another left as you head towards the bandstand. Taking a right turn, takes the runners around the outskirts of the bandstand and around a cluster of trees and a sharp left before taking the left path adjacent to the river Skerne before once again turning left one last time back to the starting point. Runners will receive a bespoke medal. Prizes will be given to 1st 3 in both Men and Women's race with some Veteran prizes. All prizes will be posted to winners post race.
