Workington Festival of Running

Welcome to the online entry for the Workington Festival Of Running featuring 1k (free kids run), 5k and 10k races. Race numbers & race day information Race numbers will be issued at race registration. Entries on the day will be available subject to maximum entry of 150 runners in each of the races. Registration will be at Borough Park football grounds from 10.30am for all races Entries on the day will not be taken after 11.45am. Prices and start times 1K fun run – FREE (optional fancy dress) - Start time 11.30pm 5K - £7(£5 for UKA affiliated runners) (150 total runners) - Start time 12.00pm 10K - £13 (£11 for UKA affiliated runners) (150 total runners) - Start time 1.00pm A £2 discount is provided to runners entering both the 5K and 10K races online. Additional £3 for entries on the day. Adults accompanying a child do not need to enter the 1K or run with a number, unless a medal is specifically required. This will provide more capacity for children to take part in the run. Prizes Presentation This will take place once all runners have completed each race, If you are unable to stay please arrange for someone to collect your prize for you. Medals for all finishers in all races. 1K – certificates and sweets for finishers. 5K - 1st, 2nd & 3rd Male & Female plus 1st female and male junior (11 -17 years) 10K – 1st, 2nd & 3rd Male & Female, plus veteran prizes in 5yr cats. Race safety briefing There will be a race briefing prior to the start of each race. 1st aid provision will be provided and organised by Stephen Wilson, 1st Aid Associates. There will be a lead bike and sweeper runner. Withdrawals and number swaps: These will be allowed until the 30th of July 23 . Refunds may be subject to a charge to cover costs of processing the entry and refund. After this date no refunds or change of runner can be guaranteed.
