Virtual 5 mile run, whenever and wherever

With COVID-19 wiping out the majority of running events this spring and summer we wanted to try and keep your spirits up, give you a goal and make sure all that training hasn’t gone to waste. We have 270 Flat Cap 5 medals waiting and want to give you a chance to earn one. All profits will be donated to Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice. Just sign up, run/walk 5 miles any route between 1st August 2020 August 31st 2020, record it on your GPS app (such as Strava, Runkeeper, Garmin etc) or take a picture of your treadmill stats or sports watch and send it to dewsburyflatcap@gmail.com along with the address that you want your medal posting to. There are no prizes, but everyone is a winner in this fun alternative to out popular summer race. Please share any pics of your run on the Facebook Flat Cap 5 page for all of us to enjoy. To assist in social distancing, you can do your race between 1st August 2020 and 31st August 2020 on any route. PLEASE observe current social distancing guidelines at all times. A 5 mile run/walk between the Dates 01/08/2020-31/08/2020.
