Virtual charity 5k dressed as your favourite superhero

Run or walk 5k dressed as your favourite superhero to raise money for a wonderful cause: Sarcoma UK. Maybe at your local parkrun? As long as you enter before the 7th I will honour your medal on proof of the run and a photo on social media The real superheroes are fighting for their lives on cancer wards, hospices and in their homes every single day. Many more have lost the battle due to lack of research and that's why I have created this virtual event. I lost my brother in law to a rare bone cancer called Ewings Sarcoma at 27. I watched a vibrant young man wither away and I vowed that I would appreciate the body I have and run. On this journey I have met some amazing people, one of these people is Rob. Rob has a very rare terminal sarcoma too. He was diagnosed with Synovial Sarcoma in 2019 and became an active fundraiser for Sarcoma UK. I hope that we can create an awareness of sarcoma by going out and appreciating the lives we have. To honour all those who have lost their battle against cancer and those who fight, I would love to see social media alive with photos of everyone dressed up with the hashtag #notallheroeswearcapes and I myself will run as Wonder Woman at Virgin London Marathon 2020 Every entrant will receive a medal upon evidence of taking part.
