Alnwick Santa Fun Run 2024
Get dressed up and take part in the Alnwick Santa Fun Run 2024. Join in with your families and friends!
21/11/24 UPDATE - ALL T-SHIRTS ARE NOW SOLD OUT. You can still join us and will get your Santa hat and finishers medal, but you will not get a t-shirt if we do not have your size available. Remember though, there is a Best Dressed competition so you can always come in your best Santa/Christmas attire too. On Sunday 1st December 2024, Alnwick will be a sea of red, as hundreds of Santa's take part in the 2nd Alnwick Santa Fun Run. There will be 2 routes available, one approximately 2.5km and another just under 5km. Routes to be confirmed, but will be similar to last year for those who took part. Your entrance fee includes a Santa hat, an Alnwick Santa Fun Run 2024 t-shirt and finishers medal. By taking part you have the opportunity to use the event as a way to raise sponsorship and funds for your chosen charity, or your sports team and club. And if you don't want to raise any sponsorship just by taking part you are supporting our chosen charities The Wooden Spoon and the Great North Air Ambulance Service. For groups of 10 or more please email alnwicksantafunrun@gmail.com.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS Full responsibility regarding health and medical fitness is at your own risk. If you have a medical condition that may result in treatment being needed during the run, please supply as much information as is necessary, in advance to course organisers. If you think you may need medical attention during the run, inform the nearest Route Marshall. Route Marshalls will be wearing Hi-viz vests and will be positioned at regular distances along the course. Please wear sensible footwear, e.g. trainers, not sandals. All children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult (at a minimum ratio of 1:4). Take care if there are wet or icy conditions underfoot, especially on wet leaves on pavements and mud. Competitors must remain on the pavements where possible. If you see a Route Marshall, this is the side of the road you should be on. Respect other pedestrians on the pavement. Route Marshalls are not allowed to control traffic and can only act as an extra pair of eyes. Therefore, it is your responsibility to cross any roads safely. Please respect our town, do not drop any litter. If the event needs to be canceled due to weather conditions, your tickets will be carried over for next years event. TAKE CARE AT ALL TIMES DURING THE RACE.
