Bedale Christmas 5k & 1 Mile Santa Fun Run

Bedale Christmas 5k & 1 Mile Santa Fun Run Firmly setting itself as an annual event Bedale and Aiskew Runners Xmas 5k & Fun Run are back, on the 13th December 2026. A 3 lap route (1 lap for the Santa fun run) taking in the fabulous Bedale Park & the woodland trail of Keepers Walk. The Santa Run will take place at 09:45am for the 1mile run and 10:15 for the 5km run, and all the little legs will get a gift and a medal at the end. We encourage everyone to dress up, parents can run with their child for free. The 5k will start at 10:15am, and although this race is for all abilities, we do have a prize if the male/ female course records are broken. All finishers will be awarded with a special Xmas buff. Male: 18:15 (2023) Female: 21:40 (2023) Also In addition to last year there will be a Trophy for 1st & 2nd Male/Female in both races plus 1st Male 50+ & Female 45+ We will be serving post run Hot Chocolate so bring along a cup to help support sustainability. Entries in advance 5k - £15 1m - £10 (Parents can run with their child for free) 20% of the entry fee will be donated to the clubs annual charities (St Teresa's Hospice & Bedale Scouts) (Entries are limited, we are unable to guarantee entries on the day)
