Around the Bays in 80 Days What’s the challenge? Participants have up to 80 Days to dip or swim in as many of the 30 Bays as possible. All swimmers are encouraged to swim as much or as little as they want, so you could just swim one stroke in every bay or swim from location to location in the same lake! You could swim before work, lunchtimes, daytimes, after work or even by moonlight, it’s up to you! Maybe make an afternoon of walking from bay to bay to tick a few off followed by a picnic! It’s all about creating great memories and enjoying the beautiful Lake District. If you would like to get involved but think that you will be unable to swim at every bay on the list, do as many as you can to help raise awareness and funds for Calvert, as it’s the taking part that counts. Not only is this an amazing challenge but you will feel the benefits of being involved as wild swimming is proven to be good for your health. Participant will receive a fundraising pack, and a branded swimming cap. All dippers and swimmers are asked to keep a record of their dips and encouraged to share pictures of their swim on social media #calvertlakes.
