Remembrance Sunday serves as a day of national reflection, honouring the courage and sacrifice of the armed forces who have fought and died in the line of duty. The central ceremony takes place at the Cenotaph in Whitehall, London, where members of the royal family, political leaders, veterans, and representatives of the armed forces lay wreaths of poppies, a symbol of remembrance inspired by the poppies that grew on the battlefields of World War I. By entering our exclusive Remembrance Sunday Run, you get the opportunity to pay tribute in your own special way. Not only will you receive a beautiful medal for your achievement, but you will also be spreading awareness and helping support charity work because 10% of all entry fees will be donated to the Royal British Legion. The Royal British Legion (RBL) is a leading charity in the United Kingdom dedicated to supporting members of the British Armed Forces, veterans, and their families.
