Boxing Day Pudding Run.

Back for its 39th Year North Shields Polytechnic Club with Woodlawn School are proud to present the annual Pudding Run. Starting from the Links this scenic 5k (3.1 miles) takes you along the beautiful coastline of Whitley Bay and back finishing next to the Helipad where you will collect your 'prize', a Christmas or sponge pudding. As this is a FUN run christmas costumes are encouraged. All proceeds will be split between North Shields Polytechnic Club (charity no. 1175041) and Woodlawn School (charity number 1205952) with a donation made to North Tyneside Mountain Rescue service. This age old tradition is family friendly, open to all abilities and pushchairs are welcome. Unfortunately our four legged friends must be spectators only and NO scooters or electric bikes will be permitted on the course for safety purposes.
