Friendly race on a fantastic course

A fantastic friendly trail race around woodland, trails and the Odda

Up the odda returns for 2024 on the 18th May. The races are around the trails and woods of Hawksworth and Menston. This is a race for everyone with a 2 lap race but also a 1 lap option (14 years and over) or our Duo event for those wanting to race as pairs. 4 junior races to choose from with the 500 meter dash for 4-6 year olds, 1 mile for 7&8 year olds , 1 mile for 9-11 year olds plus the Hawksworth Dash for 12-15 year olds which is a 2 mile trail race taking in part of the main race including the Odda climb and a finish back at the school. The event is in association with Baildon Runners and is sponsored by Vertu Land Rover Guiseley As always all proceeds go to Hawksworth C of E Primary School 2023 winners - Main 10k race 1st Male Chris Holdsworth - 37.36 (clayton - le - moor harriers) 1st Female Rebecca Flaherty - 43.00 (Bingley Harriers) 5k race 1st Place Rich Sykes 24024 (Baildon Runners) Juniors 9.30-10.30 Adults 11.00

There is no on site parking at the school so parking is roadside through Hawksworth and very busy so if you can avoid driving or car share it would help.

All junior runners will receive a medal and bag of sweets Trophy's for 1st boy and girl in each race All Adult finishers will receive a odda technical tshirt and a goodie bag Prizes are as following £100 first male £100 first female Prize for 2nd place male and 2nd place female Category winners and runners up Prizes for open , 40, 50, 60 and 70
