Christine Brass sadly passed away unexpectedly in 2016. She is very much missed by those lucky enough to have known her. She was born and lived most of her life in the village. The village hall was the former school which Christine attended, was a keen supporter of the hall. Christine together with husband Barry supported runners in previous years when we have held the 5.0K Race and 1.2K Fun Run events. Christine a keen runner herself was a former member of Teesdale Athletic Club and competed in many events including the Boston US marathon.
