Lorton 10K
Welcome to the Lorton 10K - An undulating road race along the scenic Lorton valley with fantastic mountain views and friendly community vibe. The event has been run since 2012 and its friendliness and good organisation attracts runners from near and far. The race starts at Lorton Bridge and does a loop down towards Loweswater, up Scale Hill and back to finish at the school. Chip timing will allow those runners not wanting to race, to start alone or in smaller groups and still receive an accurate time. The minimum age to compete is 16 years old Parking is in a field and quite limited capacity - please lift share wherever possible. Please remember to carry a drink if required. Charity - The event will be raising money for the Friends Of Lorton School charity. You can donate during the sign up.
