The M-Sport 5K Chasing a PB or fancy an opportunity to take part in a 5k running event at a unique venue? Join us at the home of one of the country’s most successful motorsport operations for a special 5k running event amongst the straights and chicanes of M-Sport UK’s state-of-the-art Test Track. Famed for their production of high-performance competition vehicles including the championship-winning Ford Fiesta WRC, Puma Hybrid Rally1 and Bentley Continental GT3, M-Sport UK are at the forefront when it comes to chasing the top times. But this summer will see horsepower replaced by people power, and the screeching of tyres replaced by the pounding of feet as hundreds of runners take to the track in pursuit of their own PBs. Hidden within the grounds of the Dovenby Hall Estate, the event offers a safe and exclusive experience with fast, undulating Tarmac ideal for beginners and experienced runners alike. The one-off event is held in memory of Jack Howe, with all proceeds going to the James Cook Hospital Neo Natal Charitable Fund. *You will also be able to donate to our charity during the sign up process, any amount helps.* Facilities: - Registration opens at 5.45.pm - 7pm (Race start 7.15pm). - Toilets will be on-site. - Water & Red Bull will be provided at the finish line. - A cake stall will be selling cakes on the evening for a discretionary donation to the charity. - Parking is available on site but please car share where possible as parking is limited. *Please respect the site, use the toilet facilities that will be clearly signposted & any rubbish to be placed in bins. Anyone found not following these rules may face disqualification.* Course: 2 laps of the M-Sport race track, finishing at the spectator area with M-Sport race cars on display.
