NEP vs The Square of Scooter

The purpose of this event is to put on an opportunity for athletes racing in the Great North Run and/or Autumn Marathons to gain a benchmark of current fitness as well as inviting other athletes who want to take part in an organised road race with NEP. Features: • Chip timed for accuracy. • Accurately measured course. • Music and support stations on a multi lap route similar to the setup of The Marathon Project. Most of all this event will be buzzing with fantastic support from NEP athletes and we are very inviting to others within the running community who wish to join us. Results won't be on Power of 10 on this occasion as we want to put our own flair on the event. Course maps will be emailed to participants. Half Marathon - 6 x 2 mile loop, 1 x 1k, 1 x 800m loop. 10 miles - 5 x 2 mile loops. 5 miles - 2 x 2 mile loops, 2 x 800m loops. *2 mile loop = 1 large (1.5 mile) and 1 small (0.5 mile).
