Train in the Yorkshire Dales with Project Run

After the last successful training weekend at Robin Hoods Bay we couldn't leave it too long until we put on another weekend for you! This time we head to Pateley Bridge situated in the Yorkshire Dales, a location absolutely packed with natural training facilities, beautiful valleys, and a great history. Here's a breakdown of what the training weekend involves: Saturday • Meeting in Pateley Bridge South Car Park at 10:30am we will head North to Wath for a road interval session specific to all abilities from the milers to the Ultra runners amongst us. • Lunch break and a walk around Pateley Bridge. Make sure to check out the oldest sweet shop in the world! • In the afternoon we will head out to Nidderdale Nature Reserve with the option of a double run or a hike across this spectacular nature reserve. Expect some hills on this one. • Make sure to join is for a cuppa post workshop. • Estimated finish time: 3pm. Sunday • Our Sunday morning session starts at 10am at Thruscross Reservoir involving a 4.5 mile trail loop around the perimeter of the Reservoir itself including optional off sections for the adventurous one's. This will be the devoted long run of the weekend where participants will be encouraged to run anywhere from 1 - 2.5 hours in small graded groups. • Lunch break. • The afternoon session involves a group walk taking in the sights including the famous Brimham Rocks and surrounding beauty spots in the Nidderdale Valley. • Estimated finish time: 3:30pm. Costs £15 for one day. £20 for the weekend. *U18s go FREE* There are lmited options for overnight stay where we have booked a cottage.
