What is the Darlo Solo Run? We’re sad that the SG Petch Darlington 10km has been cancelled but here’s your chance to complete a run in your own time and submit your results to receive a medal. There are three options to choose from Option 1: 5 x 2km runs Option 2: 2 x 5km runs Option 3: 1 x 10km run Is there a start date? Sunday 9 August 2020 Is there a deadline? Sunday 6 September 2020 When can I run? Whenever you like. Any time within the given month. You can run more than once in a day but don’t overdo it. Where can I run? No restrictions apart from your own safety. Consider traffic, the highway code, vision, time of the day, look for quiet periods, stay off road. Remember to follow Government guidance regarding social distancing. Who can enter? Age 16+ What do you mean by logging my runs/uploading evidence? We suggest you use a tracking app (like Nike NRC, Asics Runkeeper or Strava) to record your run. Once you have completed your 10km, you will need to post your screen shots to our Facebook page @Darlington10k (https://www.facebook.com/Darlington10k/). Please note you still need to register via Racebest to get your medal. Please submit your screen shots as follows: Option 1: 5 x 2km runs – please submit all 5 screen shots in one post Option 2: 2 x 5km runs – please submit both screens shots in one post Option 3: 1 x 10km run – please submit one post Who can enter? Anyone can take part. When will I get my medal? We will post medals after the run closes. We estimate that distribution will be completed within approx. 1 month. Please note you need to submit your evidence in order to receive a medal. Refer to section about logging/uploading evidence. Everyone will receive the same exclusive Darlo Solo 2020 medal. Can I use a treadmill? No, this is an outdoor run.
