The Fountains 10K is a great event for runners of all abilities with a mixed terrain route starting from the village of Grantley, near Ripon, North Yorkshire. The Fun Run is just over 2km - starting in the village playground, along a very quiet rural road, through privately owned fields and back to the playground (avoiding the rough section of road at the end).

Children under 6 in the Fun Run must be accompanied by an adult, but the adult would not need to register or pay. Parents running with children over 6, or adults running alone, must register and pay £3.
Baggage can be left in the village hall at owner's risk.
