Wigton Road Runners 10k

**Entries will close at 6pm on Friday 13th October or when sold out** This is an officially measured and certified accurate course by the Association of UK Course Measurers. The Wigton Road Runners 10K will be taking place on Sunday 15 October 2023 and will start at 10am on the path near Barton Laws. Race HQ is at Barton Laws, Wigton CA7 9QY. Toilets are available. Race numbers can be collected from 8.45am onwards. The run will start close to Barton Laws and finish in Phoenix Park (a short walk from the start). The course is a single loop on footpaths and quiet undulating country roads. The road surfaces are generally okay. Caution should be taken at all turns, paying attention to marshals wherever necessary. Drinks will provided at approximately 3 miles and at the end. First aid services will be in attendance. Risk Assessment – A full course risk assessment will be on display at the event HQ on race day together with maps of the route, the race permit and the measurement certificate in accordance with UKA rules Race Safety Briefing – The race briefing will take place at 9.45am. The proceeds from the race will go to the MND Association, every competitor will receive a medal but there will be no prizes. No refunds will be given.
