3 X 5K race series

3 x 5k races on a flat canal towpath, along the Aire and Calder Navigation, course measured and very well marshaled from Rothwell Harriers running club. Race has been established for nearly 20 years. Money raised from the event goes the the Jane Tomlinson Appeal. Prizes for all age categories, for individual races and the series. This year everyone that enters the series receives a designed T-Shirt. There will also be mementos after each race. The last race will include a 1.5 mile Fun Run which includes a school competition. RACE WINNERS WILL BE AWARDED THERE PRIZES AFTER EACH RACE. £50 PRIZE FOR THE COURSE RECORD... £100 PRIZE FOR MOST RUNNERS FROM ONE CLUB. Medals for everyone on the last race in July.

The Methley canal race series is organised by Rothwell Harriers to raise money for the Jane Tomlinson Appeal. 5 min walk to race start from the race HQ Commercial Pub, Main Street, Methley. All prizes awarded after each race. Medals for everyone on the last race, plus t-shirts for series entries ONLY. Last race there will be a BBQ, Raffle and Cake competition after the race.
